My friend and I went in today for food and drinks. We enjoy the atmosphere is always good and drinks very reasonable priced. The reason I gave food just 4 stars. I ordered fish and chips, the fish was delicious but was let down by oven cooked chips and not home-made. Come on guys surely if your cooking fresh fish finish off with homemade chips. My pal enjoyed parsnip soup well worth the money. But will definetely be back again.

We popped in here for something to eat and we had never been before.We weren’t sure of the protocols and the people behind the bar didn’t help us much in this regard.Once we got a seat and a couple of menus we ordered. We both opted for the steak pie with chips and veg.We did wait for a wee while on the food but it was lovely and it was piping hot.We couldn’t really fault the food but if the service had been better we’d have probably rated 5/5.
