Appearances can be deceiving, none moreso than this pub. A Google recommendation and an excellent one to boot - the Highlander Inn pride themselves, quite rightly, on having an extensive range of whiskies from across Scotland and Japan, including quite a number of travel exclusives and local distillery collabs. We stumbled across this gem of a place as we were staying in the village. We discovered a friendly warm atmosphere lovely food and the most extensive collection of whiskey I have ever encountered. As we were exploring local distilleries this was a perfect place for us. NoNoteworthy details: Great whiskey selection with tasting suggestions for those who need them. I had six guests from Romania and they absolutely loved the food. The staff are amazing and very friendly, we will be back, thank you for your hospitality. I can't say anything about the rooms as we didn't stay we will next time.
