Pines Chippy

We love the pines. Only reason why we are not marking them all 5's is the deteriation in the size of the potato fritters. They are now so thin they are almost only batter. Shrinkology is too much

The Courtyard Coffee Shop

Enjoyed my baked potato. Friendly and speedy service.

It was very busy and, as a result, the noise level was unacceptable to converse.

I would suggest sound deadening treatment. There are already carpets so maybe some tapestries on the walls might help?

The Red Hoose

Used the function room for a party, which was perfect! Could not be more accommodating for our needs and so helpful recommending and sorting a DJ for us. Brilliant service would definitely recommend.

Tasty Bite Kebab House

Tonight I ordered a peshwari nan & chicken tikka korma.
I asked for nan to be juicy , it certainly was and absolutely delicious.
My chicken tikka pieces were large chunks and generous amount.
Korma sauce was not as creamy as expected , however it was also delicious.
Total cost £14 .
Staff very helpful and polite .
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and return.

Popped in for lunch and we left full and happy. The food was lovely and home made. The staff were really friendly and made us very welcome. We will definitely return

We had a take away last night and tried the barbecued ribs for a change, they were the best we've ever had, delightful. We had beef and onion f.r. along with it, superb. Definitely 5 star

Dil's Takeaway

The best fish and chip shop we’ve used. Big sized portions and never greasy. Prices are about right especially considering the portion size. We have another chippie which is nearer to where we live, but it’s definitely worth us making a few more minutes extra journey to go to this one, we wouldn’t go to any other fish and chip shop. There is a car park too, so you don’t need to park on the road.

Chilli Hut

Amazing spice levels — every dish had just the right kick that lingered without overwhelming.
Service was quick and friendly, staff really knew the menu.
Portions generous; we couldn’t finish it all.
Definitely going back for their chilli prawns and naan!
