The Courtyard

Absolutely gorgeous food - we wish we lived closer so we could do it all again.
Our party had the venison and mushroom (special) lasagne which was stunning. Two of us had the schnitzel which was beautiful with the mushroom sauce.
The kids had nuggets that were like mini chicken schnitzels - delicious!
For pudding we can't recommend enough the apple fritters! Sublime!

Lindores Abbey Distillery

The best distillery tour I have been on (and I have been to 29!) - tour guide Ronnie was hilarious, personable, informative and got the whole tour group bonding. Distillery itself is beautiful, with a fascinating and unique history, and the whisky is also exceptional. A first class experience!

The Peat Inn Restaurant with Rooms

Was here for dinner last night. The restaurant is beautiful the decor elegant and understated. One arrival we were seated in the bar area where we had a drink and our order taken. Generally the staff were friendly but it felt rushed and not personal or warm - more functional. We were taken through to the main dining room and had the same staff experience. The food was good, but not exceptional, which I expected given its Michelin status. The pork cheek was good but a little dry. The lamb was also good but the elements of the dish elevate as expected. Overall a good experience but there are so many excellent restaurants in Scotland, unfortunately this is isn’t at the top of that list.

Osteria by simmer kitchen ( Neapolitan Pizza & sharing style seasonal dishes )

Had an amazing lunch today, food is authentic and tastes amazing, staff were brilliant and atmosphere was modern but with cosy Italian feel. We will definitely be back.

The Village Cafe

Lovely bright little community cafe. Welcoming and friendly staff. We had breakfast two mornings when we were on holiday locally, very tasty.
We had bikes on the back, and were able to park right outside so we could see them.

The Boudingait

The boudingait was excellent. Great pub food, service was on point, it was pretty busy ,however our food arrived fairly quickly, it was hot, cooked perfectly and fresh. The owner/ manager was extremely accommodating, my wife had a problematic tooth removed, so he provided ice cream that was not on the menu, much appreciated.
There's parking nearby and a 2 minute walk to the bar.
We will definitely eat there again.

Cupar Tearoom

Great tearoom in the square, nice and quiet. Sat outside with my dog and had a brownie and coffee. It was delicious and great value. Returned next day for lunch, sandwiches are excellent and great value.

Aangan Indian Restaurant & Grill

We chose this establishment on reviews. We ordered 2 x chicken tikka mains and 1 x tandoori mix. Plus drinks. We were all very happy with our meals taste, quality, portions and cost were good. Although there was no where near enough curry sauce. Service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try, and we will definitely be back. Please don't be put off with entrance etc, we all loved our meal in here.

I had 6 sandwich platters made for my birthday party in march 24 from cupar shop and they were absolutely amazing,very fresh and everyone asked where the sandwichs were made.highly recommend.Staff were very helpful and friendly too.

Brilliant pub.
Found this outstanding pub while on holiday in Scotland.
Fantastic clientele and staff, had a blast with the locals.
Highly recommended.

Love visiting. The restaurant has fabulous views. The food is really good & the scones are delicious?. Can’t wait for the menu to be extended. Thoroughly recommend a visit & I don’t play golf?

The Cupar Arms Hotel

What a find!!! Absolute stranger to the place, in the door 5 minutes maximum and everyone had said hello. You don't get that in pubs these days. Great choice of beer with a surprisingly brilliant attention to detail on every pint poured - that wasnt the highlight. I returned 2 weeks later to be recognised, welcomed, made to feel like both a regular and local ( I live 45 miles away). I cannot fault this pub, its owners, its regulars, its beer or its cleanliness. 5 stars.

Mystic Dragon

Ordered Peking style chicken, special chow mein and special curry to collect tonight. Service was very fast and friendly and all the food was delicious. Thank you. Very happy.

The Shehnai Indian Restaurant

Absolutely love, love, love this restaurant! The tandoori chicken is amazing! I won’t order from anywhere else now. Can’t recommend the food enough. Staff are also so friendly!

New Century Chinese Restaurant

First time trying here. Loved the food. The chicken balls were cooked properly and nice crispy batter. The salt and pepper chips were also cooked perfectly and were nice and crispy. Staff friendly. Would highly recommend.

Milly's Kitchen

Nice wee cafe. Service was prompt, friendly but not chatty. Food was of a good standard and coffee tasty. Take away cake was not great. It's a pretty, quiet place but there's no atmosphere. We enjoyed the quiet but felt something was missing. Maybe a wee bit of chat from staff would be good. Unfortunately toilets are upstairs which were inaccessible to me as I'm currently on crutches and unable to climb stairs. There's also what looked like a nice mezzanine level. Overall a good standard and will return once I'm able to climb stairs .

The Central Cafe

My granddaughter got fish goujons, which u got 4 and looked great, batter was nice and crispy, got that with chips, drink and pick n mix bag for £5.50, well worth the money, she loved them

Libo's Fish & Chip Shop

On holiday from South Wales and enjoyed what I believe is the best fish supper I've ever had, from Libo's on Sunday evening. Chips were exactly how I like them & so was the giant haddock.

Indos Cupar Restaurant and Takeaway

Came here on an itison voucher and weren't disappointed. Starters were excellent and mains, rice and naan were equally delicious. We'll definitely be back and would recommend. Service was courteous and first class. Restaurant was empty but plenty of takeaways happening.

Dino's Pizza

WE just had Dino's Pizza. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! We had the Doner Pizza 12 inch. We added onion, extra doner meat and cheese. It seriously was the best pizza our family have every had. If you are in Cupar, then order this pizza. Unbelivably good. We are from Australia in case you were wondering :)

Burger King

I came to Burger King cupar and use the self service and i needed some hlep on the kiosk so i asked the staff to help me and staff call Kacper came to help he was very helpful and he show me how to order and when i got my food i was very happy the food was hot and DA was very clean Kacper was keeping the DA clean and i will 100% be back soon.

Caspian Fast Food

I ordered a set meal takeaway tonight. The veg pakora and sauce was lovely, as was the gigantic naan bread. The chicken madras was lovely, you could taste the real clove, star anise and mustard seeds (fried off to perfection), which I think is great, The heat was good (spice wise), my only problem (slight issue) would be the salt. A wee bit too much for me, but everyones taste is different. I’ll defo be ordering again as I feel this is the best curry in Cupar.

Good sandwich makers.Friendly staff.Best going out with school lunch hours tho or you will be waiting a while.Kind of a struggle to get out the door at these times alwell due to all the young team getting food talking and booking the door.
