George Inn Pend, 15-17 Crossgate, CuparMy friend and I had lunch here and the food as always was really very good. We got a choice of either normal menu or the Christmas menu. We chose from normal menu. We both had battered fish and chips then Eton Mess, beautiful. The 2 waitresses were attentive and very pleasant without being OTT. The whole restaurant is clean, tidy and the toilets spotless. Very good for disabled people with a very easy accessible toilet. I have been here on several occasions with my husband who was in a wheelchair and have never been disappointed. There is a large car park very close by. Definitely would recommend this place.Parking: Very easy in off the street with disabled spaces. Ticket machine.Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth run in off the car park direct into the restaurant. No small steps etc. Very accessible.

Mystic Dragon
15 St Catherine St, CuparFirst order from here did not disappoint.Ordered the salt pepper chicken, fried rice and satay sauce and found this to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to.Highly recommend.

Craigsanquhar Mansion House, Logie, CuparRecently re-opened as a restaurant after being a wedding-only venue for several years. Beautiful country house in a lovely rural setting. Staff are very welcoming and looked after us very well. Food was great - modern Scottish. Overall feels like a really high-end experience, but at prices similar to many St Andrews restaurants.

5 Crossgate, CuparIt's a Greggs. Great for a light lunch or breakfast. The store has just opened up after a refit so looking good ( although it does look smaller but that just might be the darker decor of the interior and the addition of a door for the staff to access the front counter. This store does get busy when the local school empties for dinner, which can be at different times depending on the day of the week. The staff, as always, are polite, prompt and well presented.

The Central Cafe

Food is always cooked to order so it’s nice and fresh and sure maybe sometimes the deliveries are late on certain days but I believe the staff are doing their best they can do and don’t deserve the harsh criticism they get for it. 104 Bonnygate, CuparBest vegetarian Indian meal Ive ever had! Seriously Food was delicious, chef altered a hot dish to make it milder for me and it was superb. Vegetable Manchurian?The menu is extensive and plenty of both Vegetarian and vegan options.I couldn't eat it all and took it home for next days lunch at the office.The staff were lovely, warm, friendly and attentive without being too much.Ive no idea why the review rating is only 4.2 I’d give it 6 if I could.

Tesco Cafe
South Rd, CuparI dropped in to get a coffee to go from the cafe. This is a well stocked cafe with a good menu to choose from with plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. The servers in the cafe and on the till were polite, prompt and well presented. There are customer toilets available (through the cafe). There are the usual Tesco goods in the store and a free ATM. You can get fuel here, too. ( Prices on tariff board in photo correct as of 24/10/2023)Parking: There is cctv, but I couldn't see any signs warning of a time limit in this car park.

27 Crossgate, CuparSince moving to Cupar in the summer we have visited this restaurant many times. Sometimes eating in, others getting take away (and a cheeky pint whilst waiting). Mr Gary is lovely and really helpful and the food is the best I’ve had in Fife! Loved the Madras, Rogan Josh and Dhansak… amazing starters too. Never enough room for dessert after huge nan breads. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Despite the late hour the guys went out of their way to delivery a spicy chicken pizza and kebab to my door! ..they could have easily declared closing time but instead delivered the goods and it was the best pizza and kebab ive had in months!! Amazing! Top restaurant!! Legends!!

43 Bonnygate, CuparA hidden gem! Well maybe not for the locals, but we were passing through Cupar on our way back to Glasgow and fancied something to eat. The food here is lovely. The atmosphere is one of relaxed, friendly, feel-at-home, welcoming with no rush style. And the staff were great. We've marked this down as a place to come back to whenever we are on North Fife area!

The Peat Inn Restaurant with Rooms

E Burnside, CuparWhat a find!!! Absolute stranger to the place, in the door 5 minutes maximum and everyone had said hello. You don't get that in pubs these days. Great choice of beer with a surprisingly brilliant attention to detail on every pint poured - that wasnt the highlight. I returned 2 weeks later to be recognised, welcomed, made to feel like both a regular and local ( I live 45 miles away). I cannot fault this pub, its owners, its regulars, its beer or its cleanliness. 5 stars.
