Lindores Abbey Distillery

Really lovely experience. Our tour guide in the distillery was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question. The tasting was eye opening and his expertise made it so much more enjoyable

The Courtyard

Excellent first experience, delicious food, very well presented. Great selection of bottled German beers, friendly and attentive staff. Slightly flat atmosphere as half empty for a Friday night, which we were told was rare. Highly recommended, we'll come again.

The Village Cafe

Lovely little community café with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a great selection of classic sandwiches, toasties, and paninis. We tried the tuna melt and the tomato & chunky vegetable soup - both were excellent. The soup in particular was a real standout: rich, comforting, and full of flavour. A genuinely delightful spot that we’d happily return to.

The Boudingait

I loved everything about this hidden gem. The atmosphere was cosy, the service warm and welcoming, the music was top notch, and the food was real, honest food. The kids menu was absolutely brilliant value for money and quality food!

Osteria by simmer kitchen ( Neapolitan Pizza & sharing style seasonal dishes )

We thought we had great pizza in Ottawa, Canada .... and then there is Osteria, which is in a class all on it's own! The combination of items is the perfect balance of flavours. And like all the food at Osteria, every bite a tantalizing taste experience. And the wine paring is devine. Osteria is our go to for great, unique food and wonderful service, everytime we come to Cupar!

The Peat Inn Restaurant with Rooms

Was here for dinner last night. The restaurant is beautiful the decor elegant and understated. One arrival we were seated in the bar area where we had a drink and our order taken. Generally the staff were friendly but it felt rushed and not personal or warm - more functional. We were taken through to the main dining room and had the same staff experience. The food was good, but not exceptional, which I expected given its Michelin status. The pork cheek was good but a little dry. The lamb was also good but the elements of the dish elevate as expected. Overall a good experience but there are so many excellent restaurants in Scotland, unfortunately this is isn’t at the top of that list.

Aangan Indian Restaurant & Grill

Hands down the best curry in Cupar. Ordered the Bhuna and it was great, made with fresh herbs and great quality meat. It was a smidge on the salty side, but that wouldn't put me off getting it again. My partner had a garlic chilli chicken one that was 10/10.

Cupar Tearoom

Great tearoom in the square, nice and quiet. Sat outside with my dog and had a brownie and coffee. It was delicious and great value. Returned next day for lunch, sandwiches are excellent and great value.

Greggs

I had 6 sandwich platters made for my birthday party in march 24 from cupar shop and they were absolutely amazing,very fresh and everyone asked where the sandwichs were made.highly recommend.Staff were very helpful and friendly too.

Nathaniel’s restaurant craigsanquhar

Recently re-opened as a restaurant after being a wedding-only venue for several years. Beautiful country house in a lovely rural setting. Staff are very welcoming and looked after us very well. Food was great - modern Scottish. Overall feels like a really high-end experience, but at prices similar to many St Andrews restaurants.

Mystic Dragon

I have enjoyed here since a kid. I have tried other takeaways over the years, 1 being rated similar and still this is the best one! Nowhere has as much flavour, good cooking of meats or as perfectly cooked rice that I have found.

Elmwood Fairways Restaurant

Love visiting. The restaurant has fabulous views. The food is really good & the scones are delicious?. Can’t wait for the menu to be extended. Thoroughly recommend a visit & I don’t play golf?

I've had a variety of items from this establishment - all of which were made to order in a timely manner, served warm, and all with a fantastic service. Exactly what you want! I'd recommend the fish and chips or the pizza, they are my favs!

Indos Cupar Restaurant and Takeaway

Best vegetarian Indian meal Ive ever had! Seriously Food was delicious, chef altered a hot dish to make it milder for me and it was superb. Vegetable Manchurian?The menu is extensive and plenty of both Vegetarian and vegan options.I couldn't eat it all and took it home for next days lunch at the office.The staff were lovely, warm, friendly and attentive without being too much.Ive no idea why the review rating is only 4.2 I’d give it 6 if I could.

The Shehnai Indian Restaurant

Never had a bad meal, whether it's sit in or takeaway from here. Yes, the takeaway side is very busy, but the staff work hard.
Food as always very good. Good atmosphere.

Caspian Fast Food

I ordered a set meal takeaway tonight. The veg pakora and sauce was lovely, as was the gigantic naan bread. The chicken madras was lovely, you could taste the real clove, star anise and mustard seeds (fried off to perfection), which I think is great, The heat was good (spice wise), my only problem (slight issue) would be the salt. A wee bit too much for me, but everyones taste is different. I’ll defo be ordering again as I feel this is the best curry in Cupar.

Ordered food after my 3rd day of 13 hour shifts , fell asleep and missed the delivery , staff were amazing and redelivered at no extra cost , much appreciated and very kind

New Century Chinese Restaurant

What a lovely Chinese delivered says 1hr 15 for delivery time had it dropped off within 20mins 1st time using this takeaway and will definitely be back the special fried rice was amazing

Libo's Fish & Chip Shop

Great friendly service. We had the haddock and chips. Ordered small and theyre generous but if youre a chip fan go bigget, theyre really good! Highly recommended, will visit again. You can sit outside to eat and people watch but otherwise more takeaway than sit in.

Burger King

My partner, son and I regularly visit BK in Cupar and always appreciate the consistent great service we receive. This was especially the case when our son had an accident in the restaurant and the new manager on their first shift had to provide first aid to a toddler, bleeding with a head injury. This was done, calmly and professionally and their efforts were later praised and acknowledged by nurses and a doctor at Ninewells. We continue to visit regularly and enjoy the great service at BK in Cupar and would highly recommend.
