I phoned up yesterday to see if they could help with a delivery. I spoke to Joyce, and she couldn't have been more helpful. She actually went out of her to help me and was just so lovely on the phone. Amazing service!!

I don't think there is a better way to put off time in Dingwall, than a fruit girdle scone and tea. This is the way that tearooms should be, an extra pot of hot water to make a second cup.The scone was fresh and delicious. Thanks girls.PS. I had to put this review against the bakery as the tearoom does not show up on Google maps.

Their sponge cakes are the best in Scotland. Haggis pies are a winner too.

This bakery has everything you could possibly want, bread, cakes, savoury and sweet pies, tarts, pancakes…... They have lots of things I’d never seen before such as a chicken and haggis pie, and pancake/crumpets, plain and sultana. Staff were great too. We tried corn bread, a couple of savoury pies, a raspberry pie and a sultana pancake and were not disappointed in any of them. Will definitely shop in here again when in the area. Recommended.

In an attempt to see the best of Scotland in a short 2 weeks, we Canucks stopped in the Caledonian Bar and had a delightful interaction with the proprietor, Mr. William Deas. By chance, upon leaving, we ended up in Deas Bakery next door. The selection of pies, cookies and cakes was mind boggling. We all bought something and shared. The overall consensus was 10/10. Future attempts at finding comparative baked goods were unsuccessful. Hit Dingwall and experience the best of what William Deas has to offer… the Bar and the Bakery. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for the hospitality!

Just stopped in for a late breakfast while laying over in Dingwall for the Kyle Line train for Kyle of Lochalsh. The fruit scone was great, and the mocha was one of the best I have ever tasted. No photos to share, but if you are in Dingwall, Scotland stop by Dead Bakery.
