In an attempt to see the best of Scotland in a short 2 weeks, we Canucks stopped in the Caledonian Bar and had a delightful interaction with the proprietor, Mr. William Deas. By chance, upon leaving, we ended up in Deas Bakery next door. The selection of pies, cookies and cakes was mind boggling. We all bought something and shared. The overall consensus was 10/10. I don't think there is a better way to put off time in Dingwall, than a fruit girdle scone and tea.This is the way that tearooms should be, an extra pot of hot water to make a second cup.The scone was fresh and delicious.Thanks girls.PS.
