Went in for what I thought would be a simple quick lunch, but took 35 mins to arrive and yet was lukewarm! Very disappointing considering the price increases and actually smaller potions with rationing of sauces and napkins. Till and serving staff were friendly and polite enough but managed to catch the eagle eye of the notoriously egocentric "People's Pest Poet" predator who wouldn't leave us alone in peace without reading his Godawful "poetry" and trying to obtain my friend's mobile number in his usual devious way! Staff should politely speak to this individual (who's been such a menace to females for decades now according to older local residents).

Scrambled egg soup? Undercooked eggs swimming in water turning the toast into mush, never again

I thought our order was simple enough, poached egg on buttered toast for me and a big breakfast for my husband.Service was quick which is the best thing i can say.My poached eggs had hard yolks and were served on dry toast,I had to ask for butter. My husbands breakfast-well,where do i start?Another solid poached egg(was meant to be fried),3 sliced sausage(did they run out of links?),2 massive mushrooms, tiny scraps of bacon,A massive fried bread crust and no black pudding. When i mentioned it was missing the waitress came back with "well, she was sure she put it on" and proceeded to stand there while my husband searched under the fried crust and the pile of sliced sausage before grudgingly bringing a slice over.No apologies given.I will not be back, substandard food and poor service.

The entire breakfast looked like it had been reheating. I was left with overcooked Lorne sausage, overheated beans, one x fatty undercooked bacon Rasheed, one piece of cold toast and one nicely poached egg. The only item that I could eat that was fresh was the poached egg. The coffee machine for regular caffeinated cappuccino did not work so I had to go for decaff. The staff seemed stressed and understaffed but honestly I would have been better buying a sandwich and a cool juice instead. Total waste of money and no one will return if the quality of food is reheats ,dried out and served cold and inedible.

Breakfast cold .... 99p for 1/2 tomato & 99p for one mushroom seems a bit over the top

My son, granddaughter and myself eventually were served for our lunch order today, which took a while to arrive but no waiting time had been mentioned. My son had a cooked breakfast which was extremely disappointing, bacon was cold and other items luke warm, my toastie came on an exceptionally hot plate, was just a toastie, no side dressing and my granddaughter meal was another exceptionally hot plate, which may be reason for very dry crispy chips?‍♂️, high chair was filthy and required cleaning before use, straps disgusting which we were unable to clean fully with the wipes we had. Cutlery was dirty and we had to search for clean!

Cold food in a cold environment. Decent brew.
