We were told our food would be ready at 8, so arrived at that time. However it was 8.20 before we got our food. When it arrived there was an item missing, so we had to wait a bit longer to get it. When we got it back I'm afraid we all found the gravy quite oily, and there was a real shortage of chicken in any of the Currys. Superb food and service. A real gem of a restaurant tucked almost out of sight in a side street off the main centre of the town. Very warm greeting on arrival and frequent checks that we were happy with our food. I particularly enjoyed my lamb biriani that was cooked in an authentic style in a dough sealed pot. Highly recommended and will return when next in Dumfries.
