“Quick dinner in the Bear and Bull this evening before a concert. We were able to pre order food in advance as time was tight and we enjoyed delicious pizza and pasta along with three ten year olds who were treated to their favourite bubble tea as well. Great service, great food and we will most certainly be back. Thanks Team Bear and Bull”

“We had an amazing dinner today at the Black Agnes.
The menu had a great choice of pub style dishes. But so much better than any pub style dishes I’ve had in a long time.
Everything was so definitely freshly home made and made from scratch.
We had the garlic mushrooms and crispy calamari it was so delicious. I also had the chicken with black pudding and haggis. Not normally something I would normally order but I am so happy I did it was so good
My hubby had the chicken sizzler and my daughter the mixed grill. Wow what a plate of food they got and again everything looked and tasted delicious.
I am so happy that when I woke up this morning I seen someone’s post asking on fb where they should go and eat lunch. The Black Agnes had lots of recommendations. Well here is another one !!
I could tell there was a real chef in the kitchen. Such delicious homemade food.

“Nice quiet stay with beautiful views. Staff were accommodating and helpful, room was comfortable, and breakfast was quite good.

Walkability: Quiet location at the end of High Street, easy to walk to the water and to the shops and restaurants.”

“A really nice pub with lovely staff. The haggis burger was fantastic! The selection of beer and spirits is very large by German standards. It's best to order a few northern pales, which are poured with muscle power. It's really worth seeing ?
Dogs are welcome here. There are still large tables on the second floor, but right next to the kitchen
