“This café is truly worth visiting time and again. The coffee is brewed to perfection and has an exceptional taste. The owner is respectful, kind, and welcoming. The selection of pastries and croissants is also incredibly delicious.
A special thanks and appreciation to Kate, she is highly skilled in brewing the perfect cup of coffee, and beyond that, her demeanor is exceptionally warm and her manners are impeccable.”

“We visited Empire Coffee in Dundee for a business meeting and were thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere inside is both stylish and relaxed, making it easy to focus and chat without any distractions. There’s a certain energy about the place that made us feel like we’d been transported straight to a café in NYC. Great coffee, great vibes, and the perfect spot for both work and leisure.”

“Have always enjoyed using this cafe but today myself, my friend and her daughter went. Not sure if under new ownership but the menu was very basic but we order a toasty and a sandwich. So disappointed when it arrived. no salad or crisps on the side just very underwhelming. The ham and cheese mayo sandwich was 2 dry pieces of bread which my friend had to tear the crust from as the edges had dried out, she let me feel it too, one slice of ham and very thin sliced cheese £8. my tuna red onion and mayo toasty was blah, tuna was dry and not fresh tasting, skimpy amount of mayo and red onion £7. I cant belive we were £15 for 2 of the most basic dry sandwiches, no side salad or crisp. Limited supply of cakes which looked OK, we were going to order one after out sandwich but didn't bother. 2 other girls sat next to us and one was saying her cake was tastless and dry too. Coffee was fine. We didn't say anything as it was just a younger waitress but we won't be back. The menu is lacklustre, the food although not mouldy or off was slap dash and very skimpy with no thought on presentation. Walked out and said we wish we'd just popped to Greg's for some sandwich and coffee for 3rd of the price and for double the amount along.”

“Beautiful food, so good it's almost worth the insane prices - £13 for 2 strawberry tarts and a packet of tattie scones? Come on! It's not THAT good. One member of staff almost always gives you the impression that she'd rather be left alone and you, as a customer, are entirely unwelcome. Put it this way - Greggs staff are unfailingly polite, their prices are a fraction of F&D and their food is maybe 75% as good....so....you know....just saying.”
