First time in Gidi Grill and we popped in prior to a show at the Caird Hall. It was very busy and we didn’t have a reservation but the friendly staff found us a table quite quickly.Drinks were lovely, a good selection of cocktails and not just your usual 4 or 5. 1st time visit with 2 friends on a busy Saturday evening, booking advised, we sat outside. Ordered a bottle of wine while we looked at the menu. Ordered calamari rings, jerk bbq pork belly.and hot pepper pot soup as our starters. Mains we had Caesar salad with added chicken. with rustic fries. Ital veg stew, and a meat basket. Well, I've been to Dundee loads and how I've missed this I don't know! But I'll 110% be going back, very nice atmosphere and decor, staff were very efficient and the food was some of the best food I've eaten in aaaages!!!! Mega well done Chef, presentation was super, food was delicious! I'd recommend the Spicy Mac n Cheese, sweet potato fries were really good too, it was all good!!
