I have been here a few times before and have enjoyed the service. However, I was recently refused a table along with a few other people because they didn't take people who hadn't booked, even though this had never been a problem in the past. I also felt that the memberof staff at the front door that day was very rude to me. Clearly gone down hill since I was last there.

Very poor service. Shame as food was tasty and hot. Was sat at table, no drink order taken, waited 15 mins before anyone came to take our food order, still no mention of drinks. Plates cleared on finishing our meal but we were not asked if everything was ok or if we required dessert. No one returned to our table after clearing out plates. Very disappointing. Lack of customer care.

Frustrating place! Food is amazing but the service was painfully slow. We were a table of 10 but had booked in advance. The staff were pleasant and initial service for drinks and taking order was swift. Starters came and went then we waited roughly an hour for our main course! In fact, we nearly left thinking we’d eaten! When questioned the waiter said the kitchen was short staffed - completely understandable in all businesses just now but inform your customers, don’t let them just sit there! We did get a round of drinks as an apology but it certainly put a dampener on our day out and impacted the plans we had for the rest of the evening. On the upside, the food was absolutely gorgeous! Couldn’t fault the flavours, quality or presentation. Hopefully they get their staffing sorted as it’s got a lot of potential.

Distinctly average.Staff were superb and very attentive and the wings were excellent.After that it wasn't great.Steak was fatty under undercooked. Pizzas were bland. Bread was hard and had little flavour.Not expensive but not cheap enough for the standard of mains.

Just walked out of Italian Grill as a family. We were in for 90 minutes. In that time, we had waited 15 minutes for any service, 15-20 minutes on the drinks arriving once ordered, ordered and were given a starter and had no other communication with the staff. We then waited about 45 minutes on our main course before we gave up.
Attitude was shocking. The waitress had a stick up her backside and her face was tripping her, when we actually seen her. It wasn’t busy yet the waiting staff were absent.
When I informed the shift manager that we were not happy, we’re finishing our drinks and leaving she asked what table we were and if we wanted the bill?! I laughed at that suggestion. We were not going to be taking a bill at all thank you very much. Now in Tony macaronis and we are actually being given service.

Have read a few bad reviews on trip advisor and just want to even things out. Visited twice this month and couldn't really fault it at all. Last night we went as a party of 4, double birthday celebration, it might have been the day after valentines, and midweek, but the restaurant was still busy, made to feel welcome, there's 20% off food midweek so that might have something to do with it. Food great and piping hot, my partner couldn't finish her pasta, the young waiter suggested a "doggy bag", we spent over 2 hours very much an enjoyable night out.
Very good Italian restaurant. The pizzas were big, tasty and not expensive.There are many sharing items which we loved so no need to only eat one meal but can all share a few starters and pizzas.The place is beautiful and very large.The kitchen is open so you can see that it is clean and professional.When we were there, there were only a few tables to serve but the servers were efficient and quick.Great experience at a low price.

We did not have high expectations visiting as we had heard mostly negative reviews on this restaurant. When we entered (5pm) we were the only people in the whole restaurant. When the food came we were pleasantly surprised, risotto was delicious, pizza was super cheesy and full of flavour. Hand cut chips cooked perfectly. Very nice food with plenty of gluten free options available. When the bill came we found out it is 20% off between Monday-Thursday which was a nice surprise and was very good value for money. Staff were very friendly and well educated on allergens.

Probably the worst meal I have had in my entire adult life. The starters: Garlic bread, fine. No issues. Chicken wings - these were an abomination. Deep fried giant wings devoid of any flavour which were sat in a bowl on top of salad that had wilted due to the extreme heat. When we attempted to get past the bland batter the chicken and scalding hot water splattered the table leaving what looked like boiled chicken pieces lying in greasy water. Completely inedible. The mains: Sea bass with Gnocchi. The Gnocchi was solid and appeared to have also been deep fried, my partner tried to cut or chew these but they were beyond help. Again the meal was served in a bowl with salad at the bottom, again allowed to wilt due to the heat. Inedible. Meat lovers pizza. Covered in watery chicken pieces that appeared to have burst and soaked the entire pizza leaving it in a gloopy mess. Also adorned with what appeared to be deep fried meatballs for some bizarre reason when they were not described as deep fried. The side of chips was also undercooked which pretty much sums this night up. The poor waiter apologised multiple times but had the look of someone who has been apologising for sometime due to poor service from the kitchen. He offered to get the manager but I just wanted to get away and requested the bill. A 15% discount was taken off the bill with the only consumed item being the garlic bread which did nothing to remove the sour watery chicken taste from my mouth. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy as this would likely be classed as cruel and unusual punishment. Instead I will advise everyone to avoid which is sad as it used to be a fairly decent eatery. If I could give zero stars I would. Service gets two stars as the waiter was not at fault.

Asked for well done steak came running with blood lettuce on plate covered in blood. Also had to remind them twice we’d ordered a pudding ended up waiting 30 mins for sweet to arrive. Been before excited about going back but ended up being very dissapointed

What a very disappointing night Saturday 4th December 2021. We booked here for a family get together- table of 8 - pre booked for 7.45pm On arrival we were told our table wasn’t ready yet & expect a half hour delay. Eventually our table was ready & we sat down to order 8.45 pm. I’d previously checked the menu & fish & chips were on the menu for our fussy eater! Unfortunately it had been replaced with Christmas Turkey ! We asked our waitress if we could still order the fish & chips but we’re told no ! So we ordered the turkey instead but were told the turkey was also not available!!!! My tiger prawns were very bland & tasteless My Fanta was awful - think it was water with diluted orange ? 3rd pick was the steak which had a £5 supplement which they kindly said they would forfeit as this was our 3rd attempt to order ! To be fair the steak was beautiful Cooked to perfection ❤️ We finished eating at 10pm which was far too late. We asked for the bill & guess what - the 3 steaks were put through at FULL PRICE!! Waitress came back & amended the bill. Shame on the staff as they did work hard but the late start they never caught up their time. Overall very disappointing- would not be in a rush to go back!
