Frustrating place! Food is amazing but the service was painfully slow. We were a table of 10 but had booked in advance. The staff were pleasant and initial service for drinks and taking order was swift. Starters came and went then we waited roughly an hour for our main course! Distinctly average.Staff were superb and very attentive and the wings were excellent.After that it wasn't great.Steak was fatty under undercooked. Pizzas were bland. Bread was hard and had little flavour.Not expensive but not cheap enough for the standard of mains.
Have read a few bad reviews on trip advisor and just want to even things out. Visited twice this month and couldn't really fault it at all. Last night we went as a party of 4, double birthday celebration, it might have been the day after valentines, and midweek, but the restaurant was still busy, made to feel welcome, there's 20% off food midweek so that might have something to do with it.
