Another fantastic visit to Scotland and several visits to one of my favourite places. I think we visited 3 times. A very warm welcome from all of the staff who are so kind and friendly. Sunday lunch was outstanding both in terms of value and quality. Roast pork with all the trimmings. Later in the week I had a haggis and egg roll with a cup of tea. Our stay at the Dunning Hotel was something totally different to the usual chain hotel we are used to. The hotel itself was warm and friendly with a medieval touch. We were taken upstairs to our room which was small but very comfortable. The hotel itself was small with only a couple of rooms. There was no bathroom in our room but had our own bathroom along the hall. We had dinner at the hotel which was great. Had a soup sweet lunch. Staff and service very upbeat and chatty. We all had the mushroom soup, it was fabulous, amazing flavour. One of us had a toastie with the soup which was also fab. Then we had a cakes and 3 with ice cream, and some fresh made coffees. Lovely. Would recommend and will return. Cheers ??
