British • “I stumbled upon this bakery purely by chance while stopping at a gas station — and what a find! Living in the UK, I’ve often found it hard to come across pastry shops that can match the unforgettable quality you find in places like Chicago. But this one completely blew me away.
I picked up a cherry and almond Danish, and honestly, it was perfect. Every bite was flavorful, moist, and beautifully layered. Not a single dry or hard patch — something that’s sadly all too common in pastries elsewhere. This was the real deal: buttery, balanced, and clearly made with care.
I genuinely wish I had bought every pastry they had at that gas station. I’ll absolutely be keeping an eye out for this bakery in the future. If you ever spot their pastries — don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it!”
