What a great little find. If you are in the area and need some really good food then you must go to this place. Really delicious vegetarian and vegan options and the service was so relaxed and friendly we all came away with full tummies and smiles on our faces. Can not recommend this place enough. It's not big so I would recommend booking so you don't miss out.
We spent a month in Blairmore, Dunoon, and had several wonderful meals and evenings at the Strone Inn. The food is delicious and while the fish & chips and steak pie are great, they also have many inventive and out-of-the ordinary dishes each week too. Check out the weekly menu on their Facebook page. Really great food served by lovely friendly people. Not a big place so let them know you're coming if not local. Can recommend the beef pie, and the excellent vegetarian options. The cheese plate was delightfully controversial but might be the most generous we've seen in the UK.Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options.
