Was the best chip shop in the west back in the 1990's to about 2005 wavered abit from there where it was not as great up to 2019. I opted to try the ambiguous "box salad" after it was recommended to me by a friend as being the 7th best salad in the greater Edinburgh area.Now I wouldn't go as far as to label myself as a salad connoisseur or anything but one might say my love for the "green stuff" is akin to Donald Trump's love of Big Macs and the Soviet Union.My culinary mantra is “mangez vrai” (which translates to, “eat true”) and its obvious that Bar B Que Fish & Chips Takeaway share the same philosophy...read full review
Dont visit Edinburgh west that much . Was hungry and facied a chippy at luch time . 1/2 pizza was tough prob been sat in the hot cabinet for some time.. .. chips were average. Coka cola was good. I'd prob not stop there again for lunch. Wasn't very appetising. Didn't finish it. Never the best chippy in Edinburgh IMHO.
