Over 30 years this shop has been in Edinburgh top quality foods and halal meat is fresh owners are very nice and helpful...good selection of Asian spices and fresh vegetables/fruit. Try it for yourself.
Bismillah Food Store is a great place to find Halal meat, a whole range of herbs and spice and many other Asian ingredients. I came in for a can of Coke on a roasting hot day about a month ago and it cost about 70p! This obviously isn't the place to find your standard daily supplies, but if you need special ingredients then it's excellent. Only place in Edinburgh I know of where you can get proper flat leaf parsley, cime di rapa, proper mature spinach and beets.Only 4 stars because sometimes the stuff is a bit shriveled up.Having said that, I appreciate they are offering an invaluable service to 'ethnics' (me included)Keep up the good job
