“Went in to grab a waffle after getting some blood tests done so I could get sugar into my system. And had a great experience from the server she couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful.Prior to this a kid had attempted to scare someone walking by Edinburgh university. I happened to be going towards scoopz and the costume shop by st Patrick square and this kid also happened to be going in this direction. He ran into scoopz and I decided to stop and look at the menu before ordering my waffle (which by the way is delicious). After this I left and went to go look at Halloween costumes and left that shop on my way not realising this kid had followed me to the costume shop and was still following me down south side area towards south bridge.At first I heard a voice shouting about “the south side p*do” language obscured for Google) and thought nothing of it continued on my way. I stopped by Edinburgh bargain stores as they have masks in the window also and as I was looking left noticed the same kid who shouted “how does it feel to touch kids” at me. At this point i decided to return to the store and ask the server if he happened to be her child, she said no. I explained the situation and what had happened prior to her.However I’d appreciate if scoopz could confirm if he’s in any way associated with the business ie by way of family connection etc. as I forgot to ask that. If so id appreciate a discussion with the owner(s) about this situation to rectify it and get an apology at the very least.Likely to not return to the business due to that particular experience until things are clarified.”
