Ice Cream Shops in Edinburgh

“A friend suggested grabbing hot chocolate from Mary’s Milk Bar, enjoying it with a view of Edinburgh Castle. It might not have been the wisest move to also indulge in gelato outdoors in November, but the chestnut and whiskey flavor was absolutely fantastic! ?”

“We took away a milkshake (dark choc and coconut) £3.75 and a lemon sorbet cone. Milkshake was good but still had a scoop of ice cream at the bottom so hadn’t been mixed properly, I just let it sit in the sun some more and it was fine though. The lemon sorbet was lovely too. If it’s nice take your stuff to go and walk over the brunstfield links if you can make it last that long!”

“I think she was the manager,Annie, who was so lovely and helpful, was the best customer service I've had at a dessert place in Edinburgh. Yummy”

“You know what? I had a milkshake there and it was quite nice! Not super sweet, just right! Depending on the flavors you want, you can have one for as little as 3 pounds. I had a regular size (which was quite big for a regular!) and it cost me around six pounds. They also have ice cream, hot beverages and bites to eat, which I'll certainly try soon. Nice staff too. The one who was with me didn't rush me at all and was (not surprisingly) a lovely person. Worth a try!”

“Decent place to have ice cream. Their strawberry ice cream was fab. On the other hand the chocolate waffle with mint sauce was a miss for me. Staff was fantastic”
