Mary’s Milk Bar lived up to our high expectations. The pistachio tasted shockingly true-to-nut while the malted milk chocolate was expectedly delicious. We also got a hot chocolate which was the most sinfully rich hot chocolate I’ve ever had (maybe a little too rich!). All in all a great experience.

This place was recommended by our free tour guide, and she couldn't be more right. We loved it so much we went twice to try new flavors. A friend suggested grabbing hot chocolate from Mary’s Milk Bar, enjoying it with a view of Edinburgh Castle. It might not have been the wisest move to also indulge in gelato outdoors in November, but the chestnut and whiskey flavor was absolutely fantastic! ?
