I expected typical Chinese food in here but it was more like Portuguese food. Very unique and special type, I haven’t seen these food in Edinburgh. Chef and staffs are so friendly and food is delicious. Just one thing, I recommend you book your table in advance.

Macau Kitchen is one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh and I always recommend it to my friends who are visiting or living in Edinburgh.Hoyyen is a gracious host and my friends and I have always had a lovely time. Their secret menu events are top-tier and unique. The best meal I’ve had in Edinburgh was actually at one of these events. I cannot recommend this place enough♥️
