We arrived at a busy time on a Saturday evening. We had booked on the phone a few days previously. There was no sign of the booking on their system, but we were dealt with very pleasantly and shown to a table.The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. Next time we'll come in warm weather, and eat outside overlooking the Water of Leith.
You know what you get with Pizza Express. Good quality food at decent prices. This restaurant on Deanhaugh Street was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. It would be nice to have some local variety, but that doesn't fit the chain. Recommended.

We stumbled upon this as we were walking along the Leith Water Walkaway. It smelled so good we walked inside to grab a bite. We had homemade lemonade which was really good and pizza nr 7 (with spicy salami). Service was fast. Our waiter was a nice man from Egypt who gave us a free sorbet when we guessed his age. Such a friendly man who made our visit enjoyable :) thanks!
