In all of Morningside's cafes, Starbucks always felt the most generic unfortunately. I find its ok - somewhat bitter but still tasty enough. I like the food options, but they aren't exactly all that unique as it's just croissants and the like. Like Costa, nothing really stands out to me here. The staff can be friendly and straight-forward, but more of than not are a bit whatever. I enjoy the atmosphere the most with the deep colours and pleasant music. Overall, more or less a 3.4/5 stars - I recommend it but is rather average.

Beautiful comfy low chairs and the view of Morningside ruined by a big screen. Someone up top needs to think about the customers. We pay for your high salary and you block the view. Yeah, cheers.

It was a brand standard experience. With a little extra shine from the team.Plenty of seats, but not many comfy ones. We outdoor area and pup friendly ?

When I arrived I ordered iced americano waited 15min after which I asked how long it will take to make it as I was in hurry they said another 5-10min. I’d be happy if someone told me that their long waiting time(20-25min) for a coffee I could just go somewhere else. After all I paid and didn’t get a coffee. I understand that it might be busy it would just nice to know if the waiting time is longer than usual.

Ordered an American to take away. It used to be strong. It was like dish water. What's going on?

Just feel compelled to specifically talk about Rebecca! While the whole staff is lovely, Rebecca is such a ray of sunshine, kindness, and positivity. Get that girl a raise!!

Food and coffee perfect, and staff were so nice and helpful when I was having a personal crisis. Cannot thank them enough! Fantastic experience given it is an international chain!

Completely disgusting, lukewarm, and bitter "caramel macchiato" from here on more than one occasion now. Tastes burnt. Will not be returning, as the staff clearly don't know how to make coffee, or they're definitely not cleaning the machines thoroughly.

Smaller than other Starbucks, but the place is cute and cozy. Well located with plenty of spaces to park your car. There are many spaces to charge your laptop, and the seats are comfy.

The espresso at that Starbucks location is extremely bitter nothing to do with Starbucks espresso I have in London Los Angeles Honolulu or anywherelse in the world. Even though I mentionned it stafff was not interested. Starbucks cashier at this location not friendly at all treats you like if you were on an assembly line.Besides the espresso machine that needs a good clean up so does the place which is gloomy and doubtful. Very disapointing Starbucks in all ways.In Edinburgh for a few days I finally decided to move to Costa coffee house. A Syarbucks daily customer for 42 years first time I have to have my coffee in another coffee house.
