We had a superb meal which delivered excellent value for money. The food was exceptional and my husband discovered a new love in the ‘spiced’ ice cream. We had three courses for £52. Our choices were the Orkney scallop and crispy pork cheeks. It was the first time I was tempted to try black pudding - I will definitely be more open to that in the future. We have been lucky to eat here several Times over the years when visiting Edinburgh from Belfast. We visited again on Thursday 13/7/23 and once again had an amazing meal in a fantastic restaurant served by lovely people. We want to express our thanks to the owners, not just for Thursday but also for all the other occasions we got to eat here over the last 6 or 7 years!!! God luck for the future guys!!!

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in my life and the best in Scotland.The various courses on his menu are diverse, and amazing. The dishes are extremely intricate with layers of flavors. Each bite was a bit different.Sadly, the owner is closing up shop and becoming a chef elsewhere come end of this Saturday.
