We were warmly welcomed but then had a bit of a wait to have our drinks order taken then longer yet for our food order but we didn't mind. The food was incredible, decent price and a perfect portion size. The staff were friendly and welcoming.....until when we went to pay and opted not to pay the expected tip, then the man turned his back on us and didn't even thank us or say goodbye. Overall a great experience.
We holiday in Edinburgh annually every year for 16 years and since this restaurant opened we visit each time. The food is second to none, and the service equally so. We honestly cannot fault anything except they are not more local to where we live as we'd be there all the time.

The food is delicious and tasteful in general, Nan is VERY BAD, portion is fair as well. However, price is high compared to other restaurants within the same category. Soft drink is £3.25 and just a glass! Prices on the menu at the door is different to the actual menu.
