Lovely cosy pub! Fantastic pints
Had Sunday roast and it was fab, tender meat, Sumptious veggies and a pudding to die for.
Booked a table, got there no table ready ! Asked to have a small portion of children’s portion having had gastric surgery, refused both. Ended up ordering a disgusting starter that was over cooked on outside and pink inside! Cut open then left whole starter untouched. Service shocking , attitude shocking, food ?. Stop barking orders from the kitchen and hiding behind the young waitress. Never be back, obviously a dying pub as only one other person in eating !
Dietary restrictions: Adults cannot have small or child’s portion ! Full portion and lots of waste or Nothing ! Only place in all our travels ever been refused
Quiet when we went in, but the food was great. Really good quality steak pie and burger etc. Pretty cheap drinks. Would recommend!
Great little pub, lovely staff , will try the food next time
Literally the best home made steak pie I’ve ever had, the whole thing was perfect!
The others got the fish n chips and said the best fish they’ve ever had! Absolutely mint, definitely coming back!
Had lunch, deserves to be busier but was a Thursday we went during holidays, great food and friendly service
Really good
A secret I’d love to keep from my friends and family! This eatery is absolutely amazing. From a warm welcome by the owner when you arrive to the lovely smiley waiting staff you’re already anticipating an enjoyable experience! The menu is really varied and there is something for everyone and bonus the children’s menu is simply a mini version of Mum and Dads !! Winner ! My grandaughter orders Macaroni cheese and if your expectations the usual overly boiled pasta loaded with chewy cheese prepare to be surprised , it was beautiful freshly cooked and just an absolute revelation! We asked for the meal to be served at 1 and it was spot on ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My friends and I went to this place recently and immediately felt right at home! The owner was so friendly and lovely, and the food was delicious. You can tell this place really cares about the food it puts out and about making sure its patrons leave happy. We certainly did!

Food was excellent would definitely recommend
Walked in on a night, seated quickly, great service and chef came out to ask if food was OK. Haddock was very fresh, nice wee salad, chips and peas. Clean, tidy and comfortable
David who served was fantastic, food was perfect. Would not hesitate to recommend. My husband had steak pie, and I had fish and chips. Both were superb.
The worst curry i have eaten full of tomatoes and not very curry tasting at all, rice was a blob, small steak pie was nice.
It is divided into two environments, a pub area for drinking beers and alcoholic beverages and the other area for enjoying food. The waitress is very attentive and is attentive to customers all day. They have dishes of the day that consist of a bowl of soup with a piece of bread and a complete sandwich or sandwich.
