A fantastic start to the reopening of this traditional Blackisle pub, with an ancient history. Wishing the new management every success with their future plans.

Visited here yesterday with my wife and our 2 cocker spaniels. We received a warm welcome from the land lady and the locals. The pub has changed hands in the last couple of weeks and the new owner intends to serve food in the near future. The Guinness was good and there is a good selection of other lagers and draughts.

This my favourite pub and when we ard up on holiday, we spend a few hour most nights here! At the moment it only sells drink, but the atmosphere is great and only requires a couple of people to get going! I recommend the pint of Tennents as it is as good as you'll anywhere!

An excellent traditional pub that caters for all ages. We were in three times during our stay at Rosemarkie and both staff and locals extremely friendly. Cosy layout which helped to create engaging atmosphere whenever we were in. Wide choice of local beers and spirits. Highly recommend

No food - looks a great pub but no food served despite TripAdvisor saying it is a restaurant. Owner seemed friendly and would be a nice place to spend a few hours had we not been hungry

Just back from a couple of days in rosemarkie. Dropped into the plough for a couple of pints with our wee dog . We were made very welcome by everyone and would definitely recommend a visit if in the area. A proper local pub

My lovely Dad and l have just enjoyed the most lovely welcome by the landlord Callum, and shared stories and great conversation with him and a local man; Gregor, who sat chatting to us in what the compact but wonderfully atmospheric bar area...The pub is everything a traditional pub should be...friendly service, easy relaxed atmosphere, great pint (so my Dad tells me) and a glorious wood burning stove to keep the chill away...better still well behaved dogs recieve the same warm welcome. Just fabulous x
