I was surprised by how good everything was. Big mug of really good strong coffee & a cracking eggs benedict, one of my absolute breakfast/lunch favs. No wonder the place is elbow to elbow. Super selection of nice cakes too. Top notch.

Went for lunch with family, service was slow, we ordered 2 club sandwiches, a kids meals and a tuna toastie. We waited about 15 minutes for our order, and we got the kids' meals and club sandwiches. These looked nice, got lots on the plate and tasted okay.I then waited a further 10 minutes for my toastie when this finally came there was no apology about the wait?!! Cafe Alba is awesome! The food is incredible, staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is warm. Perfect for meeting friends, going out more a celebratory lunch or grabbing a takeaway to enjoy later!Wheelchair accessibility: Cafe Alba has an incredibly wide entrance way as well as an accessible toilet. They’ve always been accommodating of wheelchairs when I visited with friends who are wheelchair users.
