MUST TRY! The owner was so friendly and invited me over to try the gyro. The service was phenomenal. The food is actually authentic Greek as the owner is from Rhodes (which is hard to find in the UK). As good as you'll get outside of Greece!I had the pork gyro which was fresh. Considering how cheap it was (£5.90), the portion was extremely generous and was falling out of the pita. They put twice as much meat than normal, which was amazing. Been waiting a while to try MacTassos (I'm not a Glasgow local) and they did not disappoint! Quick friendly service with a bit of chat and fantastic gyros, a little bit of Greek heaven on a dreich Scottish afternoon ? Open 11-5 each day but check times on their website obviously! If you are in the area and are feeling peckish or looking for a Greek pick me up this is it, Enjoy!
