We returned to the hotel 21.15 on the Thursday night and the bar was shut no staff around .my brothers breakfast was forgotten and when member of staff appeared they did apologise and went and got it though a cold fry up was not very appealing The rooms need a freshen up at the least .The one positive was well done to the gardeners as the grounds looked amazing.

We stayed here for one night with family, having two rooms. Both rooms were lovely and had character. We ate in the restaurant, the food was okay, but it did lack atmosphere and with only one waiter it could take a while to order something. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and nice food. We would stay again, but would look to eat elsewhere for an evening meal.

Had a great overnight stay here the room was good the bar had a good selection of drinks and the atmosphere and food were excellent.Buffet breakfast but there was plenty of choice for both continental and cooked breakfast.The staff were all very helpful and friendly
