The Old Toll Bar cafe offer really good food and it’s good value . They have midweek specials of a meal and tea or coffee. All the meals were good expect for the Mac and cheese . It was tasty but the portion size was tiny. The other issue was the service was really slow. Not sure if they were having a bad day or not. Maybe you will have better luck.
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Scotland. Good access, good food, good prices. It was quiet when we walked in, but it was getting busier as we left. A really enjoyable experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again.Parking: Large free car park at the rear of the building
