Bar • “We popped in tonight in on a whim as we saw there was a pub quiz on . What a beautiful bar and honestly was blown away by how nice all the staff ( belle Davie and Neil ) were. They spoke to us like we'd been life long regulars. The bar and lounge area where clean , beautifully decorated and comfortable, toilets where also super clean. Decent pint and decent prices too. And the quiz was a great wee laugh. ( we didn't win lol ) although were 20 mins down the road we will definitely be back :)Thanks again ?”

Bar • “The only disappointment was looking for the waitress to get the bill and then going to find her again to pay. I understood she was on alone and showing people the function suite, but that was ridiculous. We could've walked out without paying!!!Parking: Limited parking but not busy enough that you wouldn't get a space”
Bar • “I've been using the Peacock & Ivy regularly and have never had a bad meal. On Sunday I was there with my partner and didn't even need to ask for menus or a drink. Sophie remembered us and came over with menus and remembered we'd be wanting a bottle of wine. Mary served brought us our food and again was pleased to see us back. Such personal service - thanks ladies. Look forward to our next visit”

Bar • “Good bar! Loved this bar when it was "The Quarry" now that Mavrix have taken it over it's still as good! Loved the Pride event that was held there! It might become my new regular again! Missed going to The Quarry, I never ever tried it after it changed to Mavrix, but it was still good!”

Bar • “Work night out!! We had booked the pub out for a quiz night. The atmosphere was great, the staff friendly and helpful. Food was basic, but nice. Does need some refurbishment, apart from that a great wee pub and great night had”
“Was there end of October 2023 for a wedding reception,absolutely brilliant place food was amazing especially the steak pie. Staff where really friendly & helpful as we not from that part of the country. Definitely be back nx time we’re back up in Scotland.”
