A very lovely place, actually situated in a lovely village called Denholm outside of Hawick, very welcoming pleasant friendly staff. We booked a table for 6 in the restaurant. Which was very well laid out, with plenty of space for wheelchair access. The food was 1st class, absolutely gorgeous, they steak and ale pie was very tasty as was the salted caramel cheesecake.. Definitely recommend.Food & drinks: Drinks and food are reasonably priced, and the food was delicious.

Restaurant had no ambiance. Service staff needed further training. Two almost complete plates of food were sent back with feedback that the steak was not edible. Response from the waitress was 'oh sorry about that' and then we were charged the full amount. At least we got a doggy bag for the steak and the dog liked it!

Says dog friendly. Not one member of staff acknowledged our dog during a 2 night stay. Food was not great but nowhere else in the beautiful village to eat !. Owners seemed aloof. Room was good.

We ate here twice. It was really tasty food and lots of it. Excellent service. In Scotland someone always comes back to your table several times to fill your drinks etc if need be. They really look after your especially here.Noteworthy details: Seem to be open every day for lunch and dinner

I absolutely loved it here. The hosts and employees were super kind, helped me along with any problems I had while I was touring with a motorbike. The food is superb. I enjoyed their food for two nights and three mornings. The rooms are cozy, the beds are nice, everything just works fine. Would highly recommend.Noteworthy details: They were all just lovely people.

Beautiful surroundings, very very friendly family run business. Room was immaculate. Food was absolutely amazing. I had the boneless lamb shank but changed sauté potatoes to mash and it was presented so well and perfect size, especially for a big hungry man that's just done a 12 hour shift. Brilliant food, my friend had the cheeseburger and that looked to die for. Original menu and home cooked food cooked to perfection!Would definitely come back with the missus.Don't pass this place without having a look in.6 stars from me and I'm an absolute critic

Went for meal. The whitby scampi with chips and garden peas was delicious!! Plate was hot and food cooked to perfection. Salted caramel cheesecake was divine.

Good breakfast with Scottish and English available and was freshly cooked The attic room did not have an ensuite bathroom, this was on the floor below. Outside of the bedroom windows were fan outlets which were noisy for most of the time. The hotel could do with updating. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Stopped here for lunch and were very glad we did. Excellent food and reasonable prices. Quite an extensive menu which is not always a good sign but here everything was delicious. A good old fashioned Scottish hotel experience. Friendly service. Wish it was closer to where we live

Bar, Restaurant and B&B; the perfect boarders vacation location. The Auld Cross Keys is traditional Scottish B&B with fantastic food and service. The staff go above and beyond while delivering great quality food, don’t believe me? Check out the attached photo of the salmon and tagliatelle. I will definitely be returning!
