On the spur of the moment we were successful in booking a table for two on Tuesday 15th September 2020. We were most impressed by the beauty and grandeur of the Mansfield House Hotel and by the rooms which encompass the Amarone Thistle Restaurant. We have visited many times, not as often recently as the hotel is so popular that it is becoming hard to get a table. The restaurant is very busy but the staff and kitchen cope extremely well, the food is always very good and very consistent. Haddock gougons in batter light as a feather, excellent prawn risotto and their pizzas are very crisp and thin base. Wonderful experience a full 5 stars all the way. Service was friendly and it was the best tiramisu I've ever had. Keep up the good work what a fantastic time. Would recommend popping in if your in the area.Parking: Great for parking ?
