Where do I start?! The food is divine!! My wife loves a roast and as Hogmanay (today) is a Sunday she ordered this and it was amazing! Really good quality and hearty food. I had the Scottish burger which was one of the best I’ve had. The burger was fat, well seasoned and juicy with the fab triple cooked chips. We were the last people in this evening but weren’t rushed at all and the owners spent time chatting to us and making us welcome. Can’t wait to go again.
The best Sunday roast I’ve had in years in Midlothian. The beef was tender the seasonal was so tasty! I sat by the fire and the atmosphere was homely, the staff were friendly. Will definitely be returning and next time I’ll be leaving the car and trying some of the cocktails I seen being made! ??
