We keep returning to the Kingsmills Hotel year after year because the service is amazing and the rooms are spacious for families. We have already rebooked for next year and cannot wait to return!Food & drinks: We had dinner at the restaurant where the food was delicious. Highly recommended it.

We had an afternoon tea here recently. Service was slow we We were not given a pot of tea or coffee with our afternoon tea. When we sat down the waitress asked wt we would like to drink so we ordered a coffee thinking we'd get it with our afternoon tea. By which time it got cold by the time our afternoon tea was served. Disappointing to say the least...I think staff were young and inexperienced. Just not on the ball. No one came and asked how our tea was or if everything was ok. Bit of a let down tbh.Noteworthy details: Perhaps training for staff.

Very old and dated room. The shower took about 3 minutes to get warm water and then the water did not drain away. The bathroom was quite flooded.Rooms: Mine was atrocious

This is a great hotel. Unfortunately, we were located in the Kingsclub and our room was right next to the road. If you want to be away from the road and close to the pool and other facilities, ensure you request a room in the main building. Staff were all brilliant especially Pam on reception and Emma in the lounge/restaurant.Service on our 3rd night was awful, there was a big event on. The manager credited our food/drinks for that day, which was nice but this shouldn't happen. The service should be the same no matter what. Would definitely stay again but can you please make the toiletries easier to access from the dispensers? Terrible design! Also, you don't need to change the towels every day. Could you have a policy that towels hung up won't be changed?Nearby activities: Easily walk into the city where there are many shops and cafes.Food & drinks: The food was faultless and extremely tasty.

Fantastic, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff are always working with a smile, friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was top class, the bar food and snacks were brilliant. The pool, steam and sauna was a fantastic experience. The gym, the equipment was old but was enough to get your workout done. Will definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Inverness, Scotland.

I had to write and review the fabulous experience we had for Hogmanay at the Kingsmills Hotel. We enjoyed the food and the New Year entertainment that was provided. We had a great time! However, the most special aspect of our time were the staff who all were working extremely hard but managing to maintain friendly smiles and provide a genuinely warm service. Thank you for making the Hogmanay celebrations one to remember.

Highland hospitality at its best. The staff at the hotel can’t do enough for you. They are friendly, caring and extremely helpful. We had a fabulous stay at the hotel and will definitely be back.

Festive lunch with friends the food was fabulous we all enjoyed it. I am gluten/dairy free I was over the moon with the selection and they had a lovely chocolate orange tart I could have for pudding which is so rare when I eat out . I was absolutely delighted. The service was very attentive and I didn't have to mention my diet they asked me and advised me what I could have. First class ??

Enjoyable short break, had a lovely room in Kingsclub. Very comfortable and well appointed. Our room didn't have the complimentary bottle of spring water, but receptionist brought us some. Also no sweet treats on arrival as was the case previously in Kingsclub. Staff friendly and helpful, as always.Dinner was included both nights, restaurant team very well organised, attentive and friendly, and we were served very quickly. Food was nice, restaurant menu perhaps not to everyone's taste but you can order from lounge menu if restaurant fayre is not suitable. Recommend the salmon rillettes, also the assiette of citrus dessert.

This Hotel hosts 3 of the 4 Rotary Clubs in Inverness. The food is always promptly served and usually very good. However, this week's seafood dish was exceptional (photo attached).

The Kingsmills was a phenomenal hotel to stay at in Inverness. 15 min walk from center city or quick taxi ride. Accommodations and staff were fantastic. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here with dinner as well and it was delicious.

I have to say that I didn't enjoy my meal this time which is a first. We have been here many times and the food is usually amazing. The service was slow with drinks which again was unusual. My food being vegetarian was luke warm. My partners food was good he said.It might have been an off day but unfortunately we won't be back

We booked for afternoon tea. The experience was not one that would have us booking again, for a few reasons. Firstly, the staff members we interacted with were variable and it was clear that they did not communicate client requests between them. One member in particular was simply rude in the way she spoke to us. We had clearly done something wrong in her opinion. Her attitude was awful. Some of afternoon tea finger sandwiches had crusts in them. Ok, not the end of the world, BUT, it detracted from the presentation of a basic item in afternoon tea. It looked like they didn’t really care. The scones came with cream and jam in them already - perhaps I’d have preferred butter only, jam only? The mini ‘cakes’ looked like they’d be bought in, not made on site. All in all, a disappointing time.
