The gales hotel is a lovely place for a short break the spa and massage were excellent facilities lovely staff the only problem we had was the key card system we had to go back and forth to reception to get it sorted every time we left the room we could not get back in that was a pain system has been reported to maintenance departmentRooms: Very spacious nice and clean roomNearby activities: Great spa facilities and golf course and rangeFood & drinks: Lovely breakfast nice choice

From start to finish, it was awful. Thermal spa mobbed and couldn't keep eyes open due to chlorine, not just me every other person in the spa, over booked, afternoon tea cheap and stale, room small and wiffy. I'm very disappointed. This was a gift which made it worse having to tell friends we had to leave after only a few hours.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Shame about the staff. The only friendly staff were the cleaners, breakfast service awful and the concept of beans on toast seemed to be really difficult. Cold beans on a plate and Doing you're own toast doesn’t work.

I brought my mum for a special mother's spa day and have to say the therapist kerry was amazing one of the best back neck and shoulder massages I've ever had, my mum said her foot treatment was also amazing can't thank the girls enough for making our day extra special. Full experience was brilliant and our delicious lunch....thank you all

The spa is amazing! Our first time visiting. It was luxury when needed!The hot tub and outdoor area were wonderful. All the other facilities were great too. We were given plenty of attention from the staff, especially Julieann who gave me a lovely massage. I’d recommend Gailes as the perfect place to go to if in need of a recharge!Noteworthy details: The spa is amazing! Looked after from start to finish. The best place to be if you need peace and relaxation.

Attended with my friend for a spa day package which included treatments, full use of thermal suit and afternoon tea.I was impressed with my experience from start to finish.The spa was beautiful and the staff attentive. The Theramal suit was lovely and modern. Changing rooms were nice but the addition of body lotion and hair straighteners would have been a nice touch. The treatments I received were excellent too, best facial I have ever had.Afternoon tea was lovely and just the right amount but my friend only got one small coffee whilst I got a pot of tea so could have several cups.Will definitely be back x

Attended for a spa day, booked the harmony package deal. This was such a nice experience, the spa is lovely and all staff. Afternoon tea was lovely.My therapist for my treatments was Helen and she was brilliant , she was so knowledgeable about the products in the spa she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Would definitely recommend
