“Not your average sandwich shop, found it hard to choose, but decided upon the hot smoked salmon on brown seeded bread. It was delicious. A bit more expensive than other sandwich shops and bakeries but this is reflected in the quality of the fillings. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“Fantastic, we sat on the picnic benches outside as the weather was glorious, we had a sandwich accompanied by a substantial side salad. Lovely girls serving and our dog was also welcome”

“Popped in pretty much as it opened on a Friday morning and whilst the hot chocolate and big slab of chocolate cake were delicious and the staff were nice, the service was incredibly slow. Not a place to quickly pop into whilst waiting for a bus! Perhaps we were unlucky and it was unusually busy. ?”

“Bought some lovely socks from the Old Byre online store, they arrived super quickly all well-packaged with a lovely handwritten note! Thank you so much and I'd love to visit the Old Byre in person someday! :-)”
