Ordered online at 7pm for collection at 8.15pm, got there ans he claimed the onlime orders wasnt working cancelled my order infront of me so I would get the cancellation text and had to pay again. Waited another hour and a half for food which every 10 mins he told me another 5 minutes. Food isnt too bad but coild get it better and quicker anywhere else!!

If I could rate no stars I would.Ordered over phone. Told 20mins, was an hour.Nan bread burnt black.Rice not cooked (hard)Chicken korma looked good , but had 2 hairs in it.Chicken masala. Chicken like like cardboard. So chewy couldn't eat it.Was cold.Never again

Very dirty restaurant finger prints on cutlery and glasses dust on photos and on floor I’ve had Indian here few time and they have always missed a dish or gave me the wrong meal.

Table and racks on the table were dirty. There was rice on the table, which I'm assuming was from the night before as the place had just opened when we got there. Didn't know what a lager shandy was, when we explained they told us they didn't have the stuff to make one. Portion sizes were small and I am pretty sure the naan bread was supermarket ones as they were tiny and that's what they tasted like. Not like the naans you would normally get in an Indian. We asked to see the desert menu and they said they don't do deserts, I must say that is the first time I have ever been told in a restaurant that the don't do desert, but it's OK we got handed two after eights which were white ?. I am often at Jedburgh for work, but certainly won't be back there.

Fantastic place and the food was amazing! We had a really good time there, great service, brilliant food and a lush atmosphere! Highly recommend!Parking: Plenty of spaces out the front and there’s a car park within a 1 minute walk

Ordered food and paid online, then was given a time to collect, so far so good. Turned up at the allotted time to be told to wait; 40 minutes later, food arrived and was asked for cash even though I had paid. He said my money would be refunded in 3 to 5 days and insisted I leave and get cash. Needless to say, I never paid for my meal twice but left with nothing. I'll update you if I get a refund. A complete scam.

Terrible service. Had to wait ages for someone to get us some drinks. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it did, it was mediocre at best. Several items were missing from our order. When some arrived we were already half way through our meal. After complaining about the other missing items to the manager his attitude was shocking and rather than apologising we were told we hadn't ordered them! Severely understaffed and shocking customer service. We even had to wait ages to pay. Don't waste your time or money going here.

The food was average that’s when it arrived after waiting over a hour at the table… when we finally got the food there’s where items missing from order .. when we approached the manager he become argumentative about the missing items and claimed we hadn’t ordered them .. it’s understaffed as only the manager and one waitress works dealing with the restaurant, takeaways and drinks , bills etc Avoid this place
Bonkers 25th anniversary night we stumbled into. Most of the rest of Jedburgh on a Monday post 4pm seemed shut. Free bottles of prosecco and boxes of Celebrations all round. We planon returning on the 50 th!

We had a perfect meal. Food was good value with great service and staff so helpful. What made the night perfect was quite by chance it was the 25th Anniversary of the business and we were treated to a bottle of Prosecco with the mealscs and a box of chocolates as we left. This was a very kind gesture as we are not particular local but will certainly be calling again when we travel your way.Thank you and hope you have a prosperous next 25 years.

I explained to the owner i was 3 days out of hospital with key hole surgery, but had to have my favourite dish chicken korma, so I ordered the "Healthy option", Mmmm Delicious , still feeling a bit sore and a few light bags to carry home I asked if I could have my meal delivered, but to my surprise he not only delivered my meal but my groceries and me safety home and brought meal and groceries to my door step for the delivery of £3 only, I would say that this must go beyond customer service, Thank You Taj Tandoori. Very kind and considerate of you my meal was delicious and service was second to none. Very Happy costomer. ?

Only giving one star as i had to continue. Our first time ordering from Jedburgh taj tandoori. I called to place an order for collection (which wasn't asked on the phone if it was delivery or collection) i ordered two chicken kormas, two paswari nan breads and two pealui rice's. We got home and there was only one rice and one nan bread so we phoned and the man asked us to go collect the rest. So we went and picked it up. I opened a rice to find it discoulerd and soggy and not matching my partners rice at all. We got two plain nans breads. And its absolutely freezing cold! I have heard so many good things about this restaurant im so disappointed. All that money wasted.
