What a delight to find food this good.It's taken us far too long to make it to the Capon Tree, we'll be returning much sooner for our second visit.Proper cooking, thoughtful, creative and using great ingredients.Service lovely and relaxed.Top marks for a top establishment.
Stayed one night in the Capon Tree with partner and doggo. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, bed comfy and and had a cracking wee breakfast hamper waiting for us in the fridge.Parents were staying at nearby campsite and we arranged to meet at the Capon Tree for dinner to celebrate Dad's birthday. So glad we did as our meal/experience was absolutely amazing! We were seated in the bar area, as we had the pup, and it was beautiful. Spent 1 night here and the staff were extremely friendly and the room was perfect. It felt very cosy and comfortable, and there was a lovely selection of food and drink to choose from. Excellent walks in the area, too.
