Stopped in for a bite to eat while out walking the dogs. Dog friendly which is fantastic, got offered a bowl of water straight away and they even had a dogs menu. Ordered two dishes from the weekend specials, and I must say my partner and I were very impressed. I’ve been in before for steak pie and a burger, but these specials were amazing.

Booked after a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and professional and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and dog friendly. Will definitely be back!

Disappointing! Booked a table and for some strange reason we were placed next to a huge family who were extremely rude and noisey, ruined our meal. Even the bar staff agreed they were loud and letting their kids run riot. Moved table but one child insisted on continually coming over and took a photo of my son! Disturbing to say the least. Meal was ok but wish we'd stayed home. Overpriced and we shouldn't have been charged. When staff apologised for the family's behaviour she then asked what we'd like to drink (was this meant to be free?! we were charged!) Extremely drunk English couple at the bar shouting and swearing. Would NOT return. Complete waste of money. Our friends were also there and left early too due to disruptive couple at the bar. Should they be still serving them drink? Overall disappointing. Meal ok but overpriced!

Found this dog friendly pub by accident but worthwhile. Was very dog friendly and staff were helpful. Price reasonable.they are also planning to put on a dog menu in November so we will be returning several times. I would highly recommend this pub

I should really have submitted this review ages ago, as dining at Habbies is such a consistently rewarding experience. Straightforward pub grub on one level, but the execution, including friendly service and very reasonable pricing, elevates it to quite another. Today I had delicious scampi and the plate was a work of art in itself. Served up piping hot by the most attentive and lovely staff, it was only a rare dose of self-restraint following a couple of naughty weekends (food-wise!) that stopped me having dessert. Thoroughly recommended.
