I should really have submitted this review ages ago, as dining at Habbies is such a consistently rewarding experience. Straightforward pub grub on one level, but the execution, including friendly service and very reasonable pricing, elevates it to quite another. Today I had delicious scampi and the plate was a work of art in itself. Ate here twice and the food has been very good. Dishes our party have had from menu include sea bream fillets, penne chicken arrabiata, steak n sausage pie, chicken breast supreme. All plates finished with no complaints. Staff were very attentive. Book a table on Saturday and you keep it for live music

Popped into Habbies this afternoon for my first pint of Tennant’s lager since Lockdown. Apprehensive at first, as to what the new rules and regs were. Was soon put at rest by visor wearing staff. Lovely lovely Pint. Good luck and well done on your return.
