I was out with my husband for a meal and we decided to go up the west end of town as he knew a place that had plenty of atmosphere. After he had five pints of strong lager I was starting to wonder when they were going to bring the menus out and I went up and asked the stroppy big blooter behind the bar if he could see his pre -theatre menu. He pointed at a box of cheese and onion walkers crisps and said “That’s it there hen” Rude! So after five more pints we nipped down...read full review
Small pub..can be noisey at times.(they occasionally have live music entertainment). Free soup with crusty rolls supplied on Sunday.Toilets are very clean and fresh with toilet paper supplied...Great female bar staff
