Cafes in Kilmarnock
“This was one of the best toasties i have ever tried, The staff were lovely and the coffee was very smooth and silky. The prices were expensive but worth it in my opinion!”
“As a take away shop great lovely fish supper friendly staff really pleasant experience”
“Lovely old fashioned cafe...fab fish n chips huge plateful..with bread n butter if you want it...lovely girls serving..love it”
“The best rhubarb and ginger scone ever! The cheese one was good too, bit The rhubarb was a transcendent experience. It lifts you from the purely mortal realm to the heights of olympus. You 7ndersyand how the gods must have felt dining on nectar and ambrosia. OK, bit extreme, but it was really good.”
“The Sunday Roast (we all had beef) was superb, all of the food was cooked to perfection. What really gets my wick up and spoils the experience is the rampant profiteering on soft drinks. £3.25 for a 250ml bottle of soft drinks? Really? I’d much rather pay more for the wonderful food than feel I’m being extorted when it comes to drinking with my meal. Every restaurant I choose to eat thinks it’s okay to ramp up the profit on drinks hoping the customer will not notice. Rant over!”
“A lovely modern Café, very clean with lovely friendly staff and yummy food, coffee and cakes. There's only a few parking spaces in front of the shop. Use a town centre car park and walk here.”
“Varied menu with food cooked fresh. Good range of cakes. Staff were efficient and friendly.”
“This Cafe has been open 25 plus years. The food has always been simple but always tasty . Can get busy in early afternoons and Saturdays. Always return here and never had a bad experience, or bad foid, in all these years.”
“My current absolute favourite place to get food from during the day. Would be 5 stars, but I have 2 slight delivery issues.. no.1 is they dont start delivery until about 11.30, and no.2 is that I live within 250 yards, but I am housebound, so £3.50 delivery fee seems excessive to me... but I would encourage anyone to order from here.”
“Arrived just as it opened on a Friday morning after a supposedly simple walk around Dunlop and the surrounding area turned into a mystery tour!! A reviving bowl of soup and a scone topped with jam and cream with a refreshing cup of coffee was exactly what we needed. Just as well we’d finished our walk as we waddled our way back to the car…..absolutely delicious. As Arnie said “I’ll be back”.”
