What an amazing place.we arrived at 1am and greeted by davey the night Porter with a warm welcome.\\nMet the owners at breakfast,what a lovely couple who gave me a brief history of the hotel and the work done to bring it back to life with many feature pieces and a touch of modern.\\nBreakfast was honestly the best I had in many years of traveling and staying in hotels. We didn't stay over but we had my misses brothers funeral tea here yesterday what a brilliant place the kids are so much fun in the soft play what a brilliant idea with the soft play. The staff was amazing very helpful and really nice. Definitely be back to have a meal with the kids and misses they made us all feel comfortable Definitely 5 start from us.

Ok visit, but not much beer choice in the bar. Barmaid explained that it was due to Covid uncertainty and didn't want a lot of stock in case of lockdown. I did miss my Stella or real ale though!
