Party of 9 booked for 1pm. 4 people in the group ordered starters. The other 5 waited1 hour and 20 mins for their main meal. Service was shocking. We all ordered chips with our main meal. Still waiting for them . The bill had to be changed as they charged us for the chips. Also very overpriced and definitely won't be back.

The food was excellent. Both dishes were very large portions. Also visited on a Wednesday evening where they give you a free dessert when purchasing a main meal. The only downside was that the service was very slow between courses, and the booth table was very tight. Opt for a floor table for some extra space. Despite this, we will definitely go again.

Decided to try this place after seeing it was #1 on tripadvisor for the Kilmarnock area. It was very quiet - we were the only customers in on a Saturday night, so the ambience was non existent and sadly the music was very depressing (break up songs etc). Not the ideal atmosphere for a date! The food itself was very average. The service was nice - not too over top and friendly enough. Honestly the whole experience was not bad but I am struggling to understand how they have ended up with such a high ranking on tripadvisor. I can imagine on a busier night the experience may have been very different, but based on our visit, I wouldn’t rush back.

Lovely family run pub. Great service and food. We left very pleased with our dinner (we had starter, main and dessert and everything was excellent). Very dog friendly. A water bowl was provided straight away and we were offered a free dog meal of our choice as well.

Went as a group for an 80th birthday celebration.We all ordered different things and it was managed perfectly. Service staff were really good and gave advice as needed.The food was delicious with good sized portions to even suit the big men in our company.We will definitely return. X

Food excellent, Cajun chicken Crepe, beautiful. Salmon and noodles was beautiful as my fellow guest said. Maybe as was on 27/12, that's why quiet.
Visited the Weston multiple times, brilliant service and a great food! Loved the quiz nights too, great staff and a brilliant night out.
