Before covid we went here very regularly for a good “home cooked” lunch & was delighted to see that it had re-opened & was looking forward to going back. We tried to book but was advised we didn’t have to which I thought strange as they used to take bookings. Been before for coffees and breakfast and always been 8mpressed. Today went with cousins for lunch and we were all impressed. Beautiful setting on a clear sunny winters day, very good well priced menu and the service was friendly and prompt. We all enjoyed our various meals, scampi, steak and bl@ck pudding pie, chicken curry and toastier and chips. Big portions, well presented and tasty. Would recommend to everyone. Just a pity they aren’t open early evenings.
