Stayed for my 4th overnight stop on the WHW in early April 2022. Fortunately there was a cabin spare as it had rained all day and I didn’t fancy another night under canvas.Great food, rinsed down with cold local beer. Great staff, great service and a hearty breakfast to fuel the final push to Fort William.Went back 6 months later after hiking up Ben Nevis. Worth the drive for the burger in the Bothy Bar.

Tired decor, no wifi, but while hiking it's more confortable than camping, does the job for the price you pay. The pub and the breakfast were nice.

It was absolutely hideous and a huuuuuuge waist of money! Stay away If you can! We booked a cabin (88£) for one night. Cabins are okay, no ventilation what so ever. Bright white lights, not cozy. No bedding, you have to sleep in your own (or rented) sleeping bag. No WiFi, TV ist not working, because there ist mo WiFi (then why even bother putting a TV in the rooms?!). No lights in the toilets and showers, no hot water, one showering booth has no lock, the other one has no door knob.Seriously, you are absolutely stealing peoples money! Shame in you!Everybody: avoid if you can!

Hotel rooms were clean and recently renovated. The food, however, left much to be desired and the simple margarita pizza I ordered was highly disappointing. 4 for hotel, 2 for food.Rooms: Clean and looked to be recently renovated.Food & drinks: Not great even for food that you think is hard to mess up.

Absolutely disgusting..We paid for breakfast for 3 days but after the first morning we ate elsewhere. The crockery and cutlery were filthy . Everything was cold. The toilet seat in our bathroom was stained with urineOur towels were not changed during our 3day stayOur bins were not emptied during our stayOur beds were not made upThe wallpaper and paint were peeling off the wallsThe carpets were threadbareThe reception area wasn’t hoovered the whole time were were there and was full of leaves and other things from outside. However we did see a 10 year old boy cleaning the ladies toiletThere was a live band on until 1:45am on the SaturdayThe staff didn’t make eye contact or acknowledge us.Absolutely dreadful!!

Stayed here during my WHW hike and found it to be a really nice hotel. My room was newly renovated, I enjoyed a good pizza for dinner at the bar and the breakfast was also good. The view from the Bar’s terrace is beautiful.

Stayed here while finishing up the West Highland Way. They were very accommodating, and the food was great.Walkability: Stayed here while finishing up the West Highland Way. The location was easy to find and the Boothy Bar had good food and a great local selection.

Shown to a room with an overwhelming smell of damp, no curtains and a window frame that was visibly rotten. Warm welcome from staff but no way guests should be offered that room. Refund agreed but since not forthcoming. Stay elsewhere!

Stunning location and if you stay in the cabins like I did be sure to take your own sleeping bag. If you forget, the hotel does hire them out. The cabin I stayed in had 4 bunks and had pillows were provided. Tea/coffee making facilities and a television are also available. Toilets and showers were in a block for all cabin users and those camping along with dishwashing facilities. Stunning views from one part of the car park. There is a bothy (small dining area) and bar but these close around 9/10pm.

About what you would expect for the price.Pretty far from the town but close to the whw route. We took a cabin, it was more spacious than other places we stayed at. Bedsheets not included but a sleeping bag can be rented. The food in the pub is ok but not great.Showers and toilets are shared but pretty comfortable and somewhat cleaner than I expected. There was no option to buy breakfast in the morning even though the dining room was empty. They ended up giving us a pretty bad coffee for 2.5 pounds.Nearby activities: The furthest place from the town center, so not much to do there without walking for 15 minutesFood & drinks: We took a pizza in the pub, it wasn't great. We also couldn't buy breakfast or coffee in the morning.

Omg, if heaven was a place on earth it would be here, the hotel is dated, theres nice friendly service with decent pub food, but it is situated in a place you'd want to wake up to everyday, what a view. If in Kinlochleven or anywhere near go and have a drink

Stopped while walking the West highland way.Hardworking manager was very helpful.Outside and common areas are exactly what you expect for a tourist hotel in rural Scotland. Earth tones, and frozen in time. The rooms themselves were recently redone, and immaculate.

Really comfortable room, clean and modern, but the place was let down by supply issues - everything seemed to have run out and several people were turned away at dinner and breakfast which is a shame in a remote location. It seemed a bit chaotic but the staff were trying their best.

Stayed in a cabin the night before my husband did the 3 Peak Challenge, cabin was nice, good facilities. The restaurant & bar was ok & food nice. The facilities for staying the a cabin were poor. No lights in the toilet facilities, showers leaked & made steps up to them slippy. 1 toilet was blocked. The only good thing really was the location & views
