THE OVEN Pizzeria

Best take away pizza about. Ordered over the phone for delivery and came really quick piping hot and delicious.
Would highly recommend.
Had quite a few times from here, normally phone and collect and the service is always great.

Yak and Yeti

We went for the Sunday buffet. It's a great spread with lots of options available. We particularly enjoyed the chicken chasni & the chicken tikka masala. The apple crumble is also incredible! Friendly service, a big drinks selection (both soft & alcoholic) & great value for money.

Rice & Chips

AMAZING FOOD. Really right on the price and meeeega big portions. Don't order too much (like we did). Watch out: cash only!!! Four/five little tables inside.

LJ’s

Very friendly and efficient staff. It was £3.10 for 1 scoop, including the upgrade of a waffle cone. I had cherry mania, which was delicious and full of flavor. Large portions and great prices.

It isn't made in-house, but they offer the high-quality Porrelli gelato. Which is made and manufactured outside Glasgow for more than 100 years by Italian immigrants. This is authentic gelato!

There is a small park nearby with multiple benches and picnic tables to enjoy.

Imries Fish Bar

Girl didn't take my order, then took about 4 different orders behind me, she walked right past me, I had to get her attention, no apologies and had to stand there while people who got there after me were served first

Crumbs

Me and my partner are here regularly, no where has ever came close. We usually get panini's but everything they do is amazing. Our favourite place for lunch, and staff are always smiling.

We were staying a couple of doors up from this bakery and I went in every morning. Great selection of savoury items and i especially loved the cakes. Young and polite servers credit to the place.

The Pavilion Cafe/Restaurant

Lunchtime visit with large group circa. 10. Able to get seated and food came pretty quickly. Nice, friendly staff and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable lunch option in Elie.

Taste Of China

My partners favorite dish is Kung Po chicken, we tried this chinese for the first time last night and can't fault anything! Everything was delicious especially the Kung Po! This will definitely be our new go to chinese, thanks ?

White Cockade Bistro

We visited for dinner since we were staying on the estate. I had the beef fillet stroganoff, the other family members got sirloin steak with chips and fish with chips, for dessert I got the Robert the Bruce shortbread sandwich which was a really nice refreshing change. All food was great, service was great as well. Highly recommend popping in for food, drink or even just a coffee.

Tower Bar

Best pub in the district. Keeps getting updated to suit all customers i.e games room, function room and of course the best decorated main bar around. Great staff and owners and a very good selection of beers and wines.

What Dessert? Methil

Staff are very friendly, service was excellent. The daubi chocolate strawberries and the churros are excellent! Also was my partner’s birthday and they were so kind to give him a little cake from them.
Will be back☺️

A small, unassuming restaurant with excellent quality. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, clearly made with care and quality ingredients.

50 this year and have used bbq king since it opened when I was twelve. Went through a few hands but consistently put out good food. Ordered a munchie box this time and it was delicious

RAPID UNDER 10 MIMUTES DELIVERY FROM ORDERING. ordered 2 curries 2 fried rice and salt and pepper munchy box, it arrived in 8 minutes from when I ordered. Great taste, everything is cooked from fresh in a rapid time.

After a strong recommendation from a friend I attended today to sample the menu at Perinaros after a round of golf.
I order a pizza with a side of fries and was wholeheartedly disappointed with the experience, the pizza was lacking in quality and quite frankly flavour.
The chips albeit were fine that being said there isn't much that can go wrong with chips.
The inside of the venue is tired and seats need to be reupholstered desperately.
5 stars, would not return.

Staff very nice, changed gloves between vegetarian and meat stuff, sandwich was lovely. One issue - but that's with Subway franchise - they don't do honey mustard sauce anymore and I am very miffed about it.Parking: Subway is inside Spar shop, there's a couple of parking spaces outside, disabled space including. It isn't a huge carpark

The Tailrace Inn

Great food. We called in here for food and drinks while walking the West Highland Way. We didn't have a reservation, but they found us space to eat. Would recommend.

Sizzlers Methil

We ordered a delivery tonight, we've been using a local sit in restaurant lately but tonight thought we'd get a delivery.
The food was piping hot and perfectly made, the chapatti were freshly made and not out a packet, we both agree it was excellent all round.

New Indian Express Takeaway

It's been an amazing experience to visit leven new indian express. Food is absolutely delicious and staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Please visit and you would love it

Kismat Fast Food

Ordered portion chips, seperate portion of kebab meat with chilli sauce & a separate portion chilli sauce. When it came, no chilli sauce anywhere. Phoned up to complain and sent another out. Half an hour later nothing here. Phoned to ask where it was to be told, it should be there any minute as been very busy. 10 mins later knock on door. Opened it up, had very little chilli sauce and was absolutely stone cold! Would not recommend and will certainly not be ordering from there again.

MacDonald Hotel & Cabins

We had an amazing stay at MacDonald Cabins — the location alone makes it worth it. Set right by a river and surrounded by mountains, the views are spectacular and exactly what we came for. The cabins themselves are charming and comfortable, and there’s a great vibe overall.
The on-site restaurant stood out — a unique Scotland × Indian fusion menu that was bold, tasty, and a really nice surprise in a remote setting. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
That said, there are two areas that could be much better:
• The common kitchen needs improvement — it wasn’t as clean as it should be and felt under-equipped for guests relying on it.
• The bathroom setup isn’t ideal. The lack of private bathrooms in the cabins was inconvenient. Options for en-suite bathrooms would make a big difference.
Despite those issues, we’d recommend this place for the views, the atmosphere, and the overall experience. If they upgrade the facilities and cleanliness in shared areas, it could easily be a 5-star stay.

Food was quick and yummy, service was quick and over with in seconds.. the car park however.... got some nasty folk siting waiting around, your local multicultural car meet for uber & just eat,
